DUDENESS! thats pretty cool! it always feels great when you come up with a successful hack in the shop. Personally, i always get frustrated with these kind of operations in my shop. i hate sharpening anything. i have so little time in the shop that i hate devoting any shop time to maintenance, it drives me crazy! the only thing i will sharpen are my plane irons and my chisels, i always mail out my blades to get sharpened. its so cool to see that you have the patience to figure this out. my hat's off to you.

That's some chewed up push sticks you have there. I haven't tried to sharpen one of these sawmill blades myself yet. Been using my 20" saw with a 1/4" blade cause I find I need the most elbow room when I cut out stuff with lots of curves in it.

Super video. This look easy. Thank you for sharing this with us. I was also unable to sharpen this 1¼" blade with a dremel too either

Like your idea, I would add a foot paddle would so you can keep both hands to move the blade. It could go under the table and lift the lever.

I have an engineer's education. Most of my schoolwork was done in metric, so units-wise, I'm ambidextrous. Genesee beer - oldest brewery in the country!

Great use for the Harbor Freight blade sharpener. Please show us how to fold the blade into that typical 3 coils without getting cut to pieces. Thanks.
