This has quickly become my #1 guitar channel. I can’t say enough about how great it is that you not only take the time to learn and explain the multiple guitar parts of each song, both rhythm and lead parts, but on top of that the great camera placement, video editing, and then adding the graphics and chapter markings. How you have the time to do all of that and still put out a new video so quickly is impressive. Having formerly watched and learned so much from the old Private Tricker/James James channels, (until he signed off for the last time), I think that you are easily his equal in how well you learn and explain a song, but surpass him in your editing and post production abilities. Thanks so much and keep them coming.

Really appreciate and admire your style of teaching......big respect and thanks, and please don't stop with all the great songs for us to learn & play

I can’t tell you how much fun I have had playing this the last few days. I have a $100 Mooer Hornet amp with a phaser setting and it sounds great. The rhythm part under the solo is great for practicing power chords. Thank you very much, throwing a tip in the jar

Fantastic lesson! Far as I know, that was Ronnie on Bass and slide guitar (can hear it right after the solo). Always thought it was Ronnie playing the solo.... now you got me thinking it might be Keef! Well, at least this time we know it wasn't MT! Lol

Yeah, great job as usual! Keith is definitely in standard tuning and in fact, I think the whole some girls album it is in standard. EXCEPT -BEFORE THEY MAKE ME RUN. That progression in the guitar solo of SHATTERED is probably the most complicated thing on the entire album! It seems they were really trying to get some of the punk style on most of the songs..this was 1978 . BEAST OF BURDEN is the exception and MISS YOU- Disco. Jagger played a lot of rhythm guitar on songs and wrote a lot of them but NOT on SHATTERED . THANKS!

I don't know if they had the matching Music Mans yet, but I wonder if they traded licks. That would be cool. BTW, Ronnie got credit for bass, and "kick drum" on this too. Great tune, great album. Great job, you make learning fun!! 😃

First and foremost, I prefer playing rhythm especially when it looks easy, then again it is hard to learn. Something like the Stones. Some Girls come out while I was in grade-school. I love the Rolling Stones. The classics that never seem to bore !!!

While we're on the Stones, I'd love it if you tnackled the right way to play their version of Bobby Womack's It's All Over Now. I've tried to unpack this for the better part of a year after listening to my band mates play an obviously wrong version. Thanks!

Hi! I subscribed and got it. Just wondering, would you be able to tab the “not simplified” solo. From other covers it looks like they slide down from third fret to 12th? Instead of the A and D. Great video and lesson!

Nice looking strat :) the thing I love about 70s Stones is how they had no qualms with recording tons of guitar tracks and somehow mixing them all together. How many actual tracks of guitar do you think were in this song? 3? 4? 5? More?
