@@slap_A_flamingo Let's just say I almost lost my kids and later my wife because of anger issues due to PTSD that was aggravated by a ex that did everything in her power to make things next to impossible for my family to come together I had gotten remarried and had 2 more sons, at one point I had what I can only say was an out of body experience as I watched myself go nuts over nothing thank God a buddy calmly questioned why I was acting the way I was and pointed out that I was destroying my family and self. I later saw another buddy who happened to be a very successful shrink and after 5 minutes of telling him how I had been acting made me look at myself in the mirror he also told me to go to the VA and get my records which I did and to my surprise the military diagnosed me with PTSD and all the goodies that come with it and I had no idea about it. I was dealing with my family like I was dealing with my squad and as a bonus my hormones' had gotten all screwed up which put me in a high state of anxiety and bad mood 24 hours a day. I was in a tornado of emotional anger 24 hours a day and didn't even know it. To this day 20 something years later it makes me very sad how I acted thankfully my sons were young enough to forgive and forget today all is good.

Congratulations to you BOTH. Creed is my guilty pleasure....as an 80s kid, and 80s metal head.....I'm not supposed to like Creed......but I do. Creed got me through a lot of "stuff" in my life in the early 2000s. Creed is uplifting, at least to me. You can hear in Scott's lyrics, that's he's literally battling with himself and pouring his heart out. You can hear in Scott's singing the emotions he feels through these lyrics.

Their music comes straight from the heart and it’s damn good. This song is a masterpiece that I didn’t know until I got back into the band, won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001. Hey guys, I want to congratulate you on the pregnancy. I am so happy for you both and hope all goes well the entire pregnancy and birth. It is natural to feel a little apprehensive. Most everyone I know including myself feels that way with their first child. Parenting skills will come naturally to most people so you two will do fine. I am sure you will have plenty of people in your lives, family and friends that can answer any questions should you have any as you learn along the way but it is such a great experience being a parent as you watch them grow from a baby, to a toddler, to the first day of school, and on and on. Many people get a better understanding of how fast time does fly after becoming parents. Treasure each and everyday and stage of their lives because time does fly. Take a lot of pictures along the way and videos. The greatest gift anyone can ever receive in life is a child and the greatest gift a child can receive in life until they too become a parent one day, is to have been born to great loving parents to teach them how to be a good person and surround them with loving people. You two will do great and I am so happy for you both. I have been a subscriber for awhile and have enjoyed your journey here and feel like I know you both from your videos.

I don't know if they were "underrated" necessarily. They were the biggest rock band on earth for awhile with massive radio airplay and album sales. The music media and critics had it out for them though for sure (and there were other bands that even if they put out a shitty album that same media would worship no matter what). And as like it is now, whoever has control over the messaging will control the message. Eventually, some of the hate became at least a little deserved when Stapp got more and more pretentious. Still an awesome band though, and I love to see people who weren't around at that time discover their music.

Creed! They have uplifting songs. 🙏 Great '90s, '00s band. They were post-grunge.

Thank you for the reaction.Been a huge fan of Creed ever since " Higher ' came out around 95 or 96. Disappointed that the reunion only lasted one album, which I think may have been put out due to a contractual obligation to the record company..Alter Bridge,I like a few songs, just not a big follower.Scott Stapp,in my opinion, has produced many awesome songs during his solo career. The only two songs I can name, from Alter Bridge , are the two I like,'Open Your Eye's and Watch Over You.'

Well ur missing out then. AlterBridge is such top notch quality. First 5 albums are all killer front to back. Walk the sky has some very good nuggets too. Really looking forward to their new release in Oct ‘22. First album in ‘04 sounds a bit more like Creed with a better vocalist, yet Tremonti has freedom to shred alot more. But starting with their next release ‘Blackbird’ , where Kennedy also plays lead and rhythm guitars, is where AB really began to shine and have their own sound. Much heavier and more complex musically than Creed was. Tremonti is obviously much happier with Myles Kennedy than before too. That’s why no more Creed (which I also like btw… just I happen to love AB!!)

This song was a huge hit when i found out i was to have a son. I believe this song affects many of us the same. The doubts of first time parenthood and the joy of bringing life into this world.

Not only is Creed a Christian band, but this was written by the lead singer for his first child. It always makes me think of my son. ❤️❤️
