i understand rayas concern about only showing the broken buildings:) i was born in romania and its pretty much the same thing, one of the most underrated countries in the world. the people only know about the gypsies and very poor villages. the country has so much more to offer: great buildings, History, food, beaches, mountains and so o. and i bet its the same with bulgaria:) looove seeing a bit of rayas beautiful country ;)

Mari Kay I’m from Bulgaria and last time I was here 2 years ago, my sister and her husband took me to Craiova for lunch. It was absolutely amazing - the people, the old renovated buildings, the parks, the food (mamaliga )... I had an awesome time - Romania, just like Bulgaria is a spectacular country 😍😍😍

The tour of Raya's grandparents house was beautiful. Loved it. I also enjoyed how Louis sees beauty in vintage things, old things, not so much the new. I was moved by Raya dressed in the traditional attire. The music and Louis reaction, along with her relatives, was quite moving. Sort of made me tear up. I truly enjoyed this vlog.

I know right. And Louis being such a man didn't catch on to that. I luv him, but, he should of noticed how beautiful she looked and told her. That was what the production with the music was for. No disrespect to Louis though :)

I think you like the older buildings because they show so much of the history of the country. I don't know there is just something about the older (falling down buildings lol) that just makes you feel the history of the places you visit and for people who really appreciate the history of different places can really appreciate the old as well as the new. Idk I love the older buildings.

What a beautiful place to live. All those jars in the basement remind me of my grandparents' house in Kent. Gran would be kept busy making jams and preserved vegetables from the back garden and Grandad's allotment, storing the results in a big cupboard in the spare bedroom. I think they were building up supplies for the nuclear Armageddon that was always just a threat below the surface back in the 70s and 80s. However, we always took advantage of this bounty and would fill our suitcases with jars and bottles of all kinds of goodies every time we went to Kent for a holiday xx
