Very interesting. I am a female who has ended several relationships because I felt as though the guys simply didn't care. After I broke up with or stopped contacting them they would come back crying (literally) with poems & love notes and apologies and such, and I would be so confused as to why when, less than like 48 hours before they didn't give a flying f*ck. I never took any of them back since I was just confused and no longer interested by that point. This video clears this confusion up.

I am a girl in a situation that I think might be related to this, but I'm not sure. I really like him; I know he knows I do, but I'm pretty easy going and give him a lot of space and don't feel rejected when he takes it. Been meeting up for the past 2 months and I am now going back and forth about whether he is playing it cool, taking it slow (which I find really attractive) or if he isn't into me (which would confuse the hell out of me). We haven't hooked up, but have flirted a lot, got together for drinks, spent an evening or two at his house. I am starting to feel like I am not sure if my patience is going to be enough. If he is playing it cool, I worry that he's going to take it too far and I would be better off moving on. I've been pretty clear, though not explicit, that he's got the green light, but he won't make the move. I don't know what to do. It would suck to see this go nowhere, but I also don't want to spend too much time tied to a 'cold fish' - I like cool, but I don't like cold - and I definitely don't like wondering if he likes me or if this is how he just is with all girls, which I have a hard time believing. I'm open to gently pushing it to the next step, but I worry that he *maybe* doesn't want that? I don't know what to do. Yes, guys, please don't push it too far. We like a cool guy, but take a hint when she is giving you one (and girls are aware they're giving hints, K?). I hope he comes around soon. I'll give him another month, then I'll have to move on :-(

thrilla72 It's funny you're asking about this 2 years after I posted that. He kept up being cold, wouldn't just come out and tell me how much he liked me, so we never got anywhere. But last month, after I just completely stopped talking to him because he frustrated me so much, he changed his tune and, although I don't know what to expect now, he's definitely not cold anymore. I had to call him out on it when he wanted to know why we never went anywhere. I don't think I should have had to tell him, but at least he listened and seems to want to be better with me for another try. :-)
@scarletsoul77

thrilla72 I did tell him before, many times, he just didn't listen back then. I think because I was still around he thought, wrongly, that even though I complained about it, it was working. I think after I left the situation and it was real to him, he was ready to listen. ;-)

Funny, I see this was a long time ago but I can see how it turned out, and I was going to suggest you give him space to move at his own pace and initiate something. Sometimes (a lot of the time!) women are impatient to move things forward with a guy, but whoever is more keen to get moving HAS to wait for the other person to catch up and proceed at their own pace and at their own discretion If you are always pressing him to take action then he can't actually initiate anything because you are doing that. Rather than be up in his face and then disappear completely forever, it often pays to pull back temporarily if someone is not matching your pace. Works on both men and women The thing is, you don't know what pace he is comfortable with because YOU are leading. To find out where he's at, all you need to do is give him some space to miss you, and then he has to lead. Simple. But he can't lead if you are doing that, it needs to be his idea. Space creates missing, and missing starts people thinking about you. If he thinks about you enough he will take action. You need to have cycles of getting close then further apart. It's VERY confusing for guys (well me at least) when women are really keen for so long then they just disappear. Going slow, pacing yourself, giving him space and time to think about you and if he even misses you or not, that's the way to do it We often don't know how we feel about someone until they're not there, we can see what impact their absence has. If they never feel your absence then they don't know how they feel about you. It's like eating food - we need time to digest it, and if you keep feeding him your presence then he never gets to digest it and never misses the food because it's always there. He needs to miss it and thing "gee, that was really good and I haven't had it for a while. I might get some more". Of course, if you are constantly shovelling food down his throat he may even reject it

2 year relationship ended in fight. 4 weeks breakup. Talked a bit through things 2 weeks ago hooked up, laid on me all night naked in her bed. Felt like we were still together but she was vulnerable didn’t want sex because it would interfere with her decision. So long story short got prescribed adderall last 3-4 months I was buried in work and poker won a ton of money then lost it all. She is very independent 27 next month. So I obviously want to make things right I went from secure to avoidant she told me she loved me first 7 weeks then asked the what are we. I was studying your videos read book but then got off my center and stopped studying. I have given space no texts at all in 12 days. She wants a lot of space and it hurts her heart too much to talk. How tf so I get her back? Almost worse then being needy and clingy because it’s all fixable. I’m off the adderall for last month got into big fight and she said I love you crying but have to end it for her, legitameky had a panic attack and then said I was her best friend. All same hobbies, values morals and long term money family goals. Had plans to move in together in august and I was thinking proposal in a year from now. But obvi we aren’t together now. She isn’t dating just healing stayed at her sisters for a week after since she lives alone and asked if any girls kissed me on New Years bc she stayed in with her parents and siblings. So… wtf do I do bro??? I’ll walk away but I want the power of position back. I have been in numerous relationships hookups and first girl I’ve loved wanted to marry but unintentionally hurt her with my tone and not affectionate. I said all this and my intentions when we spoke cuz we needed to talk things through since it ended in fight. But she sees it working short term but not long term again. Won’t friendzone cause we’ll just hookup since sexual attraction there. Advice??! Guess this wasn’t short lol

Have dated this woman for 1,5 years it's been on/off relationship but mainly on. She likes me a lot and loved even. I always liked her but I never really fell in love with her until our last breakup. I think one of the reasons was she chased me too much. Contacting almost every day but now that I have been given the gift of missing her I came to realize that I care really much about her and maybe even love her. Then again now she shows no interest to go on. I had been a cold fish for too long as she had been asking me to tell her that I love her etc. but I was not able as I was not in love. But now my feelings have changed. It has been 2 weeks since we broke up. I kept contacting her basically for 1,5 weeks trying to tell her that my feelings have changed and she means the world to me. At first when she wanted to break I did not feel the way I feel now about her. It is strange how quickly ones feelings and emotions can change. Anyways I told her that I love her, left the door open and started no contact 1,5 days ago. Should probably have started the no contact sooner but I also felt I had to tell her that my feelings have actually changed and that was 2 days ago.

During those 2 two months of no contact I lost approximately 5kg of fat and started to exercise more and in overall concentrated on my personal development.
