Steven thanks for this video...as a Nigerian woman striving in business, this is really an inspiration. Her story isn't the stereotype we see in Nigeria but look at how successful she is and she hasn't reached so called middle age where most people expect the success to flow.I am happy this video came my way. She was just saying alot of things I have been thinking. Hearing her is liberating & giving me permission to go after all of my dreams as a female in Nigeria. Thank you to her for sharing. More blessings to her & her endeavors.

Good luck my sister and you certainly need no one's permission. I'm a man from the South South/SE, I have personally seen women (in my family and otherwise) be bankers, doctors and lawyers for generations. And if not that then traders extraordinaire. I know that Southwest women do the same as well. And now, we see this example in the North. We have our gender issues in terms of some customs, but our society has always had big respect for what women can achieve! In Nigeria a grown man can call a woman, sometimes even much younger than him, "madam" with full respect.

This is Nigeria everything is possible especially for those who are connected. Nothing good comes easy. It is about who you know. But thank the ladies for having such vision for re-investing their fortune on the country that they made the fortune.

Exactly. That connection element is seriously downplayed. Ask a typical Nigerian how he/she got a job or opportunity and invariably the the answer is "It wasn't easy but It's God". Never have I seen a more disingenuous nationality.

I agree but this is same for many successful people, bill gates, zuckerburg etc

@@abdul-kabiralegbe5660This is a poverty mindset. A poverty mindset will always think wealth can only come through connection but they forget that there are many failures behind a success story. Do you know how many failures she have had? Man, pursue your dreams and refuse to fail, when you fail, stand up again and pursue and be consistent and see if success will not come knocking.

You are right. Like her big connection at the age of eighteen to start her hairdressing business and then go on to learn carpentry. Yet Elon musk still gets support from us government.

It can’t be, if this was in Southern Africa the place would have a European name not African name

One of the amazing stories of women who are changing the narrative by been very creative and sustaining the idea, that nothing limits anyone regardless of the gender.
