Not perfect people but perfect couple who give and take, cheer one another on. I love seeing love in action. Well done Greg and Katie. Oh, and congrats on the KZitem plaque, although it is not near as valuable as what you two have together😘🤗

Anyone that has been watching you for several months knows you’re work ethic - no shabby, half decent projects. The power shed isn’t for anyone or animal to live in and just because you took a couple of shortcuts here and there doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be water or rainproof. Anyone that looks too close is being nosy! Don’t worry about them. Congrats on the new Sungold Power system!

Just a tip for painting, the pros use a 5 or 7 gallon bucket 🪣 and theirs a wire grid like thing that goes inside and hangs on the bucket and you have a place to hang your roller and brush works really well when on a ladder 🪜 😊

We went with the two inverters for split phase 240V two years ago and have been running that without a hitch for the past 2 years. We started off with a solar shed before we started building our house so we'd have power to run all the tools, charge up the batteries, etc. With a sub panel in the shed running to the main panel in our house, we're running 60 amp service and can power everything you'd want in your home. Electric clothes dryer, A/C, 240 volt deep well water pump, fans, vents, lights, jacuzzi tub, fridge, freezer, and all of the electronics we have. We've got 5 5120Kwh rackmount batteries and will probably get a 6th by next year. We have a total of 5320 watts of solar panels right now, and are looking to double that up by next year as well. I've got a video or two of our setup on our channel.

Greg, I feel your frustration over not being able to obtain the desired materials. Same thing happened when building a ramp and lean-to's on our cabin; had to use the lumber available at Home Depot and Menards, and just made it work. May not look as good as it could, but so far so good.

Let me make a suggestion that might help when "what to do" looks overwhelming. Pick small projects that give completion satisfaction and then learn to enjoy the process. Now the reward for trying this is you get to explore what this means. Enjoy past the blood, sweat and tears, and curse words to where they just don't have the same effect. Takes time to do this. I am 73 and only learned this in thepast twenty years.
