Beverly just does not deserve to be neither a mother or a wife, she just deserve to spend her life alone surrounded only by her big ego and arrogance. Ok it may be a show but I feel so sorry for what Leonard went through as a child. His mom was mean, wouldn’t give him approval, narcissistic, and ignorant. She wouldn’t let him celebrate holidays or his birthday because those weren’t real achievements. His mom, dad, even aunt favored his siblings over him. It’s bad enough neither his mom or dad would hug him or say they’re proud of him and call him a needy greedy baby. Beverley also called him sissy pants. When Leonard found out his mom did a bunch of experiments on him as a child and confronted his mom about that she admitted that those were good memories with her son but that the experiment was still going. She humiliated him in front of school when he apparently wasted his time on a pointless science project

And to quote the Leonard character says & I quote "Damn right I'm angry at my mother/at her. For God's sake, I was 8 years old. She humiliated me, that's when the bed wetting started again". I kinda felt like I needed a hug, not just from my family, my parents and my friends, honestly. Sorry. Aside from that along with Moe, Lisa Simpson & Amy, I just wanted to hug Leonard himself, aww ☺.
