New subscriber here my friend!! Super awesome video and even cooler cars. I am starting a KZitem channel with the building a 1928 Morgan/MG special. Instead of using a GN rear (none available in the US.) I am using an MG rear differential and beautiful spoked wire wheels. I am using an experimental aircraft opposed twin as the power plant possibly with a turbo.. I am setting up a machine shop and a forge in order to cast the aluminum adapter to link the motor and a 4 speed manual MG transmission. I am going to be able to cast any parts and then turn them down on the lathe or the mill. Depending on how the project turns out I may start building turn key replicas here in the States as well as kits. They will essentially be WWI airplanes without a prop or wings. I am going to use aircraft ceconite and spray it with plasticizer. It will be a wood over metal frame similar to both the Morgan and the Pembleton. I hope to start as soon as I am back on my feet from getting run over while riding my 1957 Harley Panhead...Probably by the end of the summer.

New subscriber. Great video. That 91 has me wondering.Im guessing the fuel is gravity fed from that tank wing.I just wonder if having that weight up high actually upsets the car at all. I would think having it placed low down would help a lot except you would need a fuel pump as you then loose the gravity feed. But I really like difference, and that 91 sure has it.Kind regards.

Did you find out any information on that 91 car with the really awesome mechanicals? Looks recently restored however I have never seen that car in any of the races. Really exciting to see the technology involved!!! Thank you so much for bringing this to those of us across the pond....

It's the "Freikaiserwagen", originally built as a sprint and hill climb special in 1936 by David Fry & Dick Caeser, with Dick's cousin Joe Fry driving. It had a GN chassis, Morgan suspension and an Anzani V-twin engine, and subsequently modified with a Blackburne 1100c engine running on alcohol with a supercharger. Development was halted by the war, then it was upgraded again, but Joe Fry crashed fatally in 1950 and the project was abandoned. The car was repaired and used sporadically since the 1960s, but it has now been restored to compete in vintage events.

@@RoyCousins Wow! Thank you Roy!!! That was exactly the information I was looking for. I am a complete car nerd...especially when it comes to pre war cars and cars that have been cobbled together for a certain purpose. That thing is beautiful!! I believe I can see how they did the clutch assembly and I am going to to my 1928 with an opposed twin with a supercharger from an experimental airplane.. Super cool my friend. Thanks again.
