what i love too much is that sherlock never ever considers the feelings of other people, yet when it comes to john he asks him if he's okay any chance he gets really, and in season 4 he even tries to hug him to comfort him. like i know it isn't much for a normal human being but for a "high functioning sociopath" he really does try
@christinabeyer9298
3 жыл бұрын
You surely mean for a selfproclaimed "high functioning sociopath." According to Moffat Sherlocks remark wasn't meant serious, just sarcastic. Sherlock knew and used the term "high functioning" which is usually used for people in the autistic spectrum who are intelligent enough to adapt to the society and environment. It doesn't really exist such a thing like "high functioning sociopath." Sherlock used his remark as a mask to scare people off of seeing the truth. Autistic people often speak of themselves way to set theirselfs apart from others.

@@zackarydoesgacha9510 you said I watch an entire season in a day. One season. One season is approximately four and a half hours, maybe five. Two of the seasons are like that so say, ten hours. If I've watched this seven days in a row, yes there are few hours for ANYTHING. Seven specifically. That's only if I've watched each and every episode in order without picking favorites and skipping some. In the end I didn't watch every single episode seven times. Just platonic? I’ll take that as a no.” - The pool scene. - When John tries to sacrifice himself for Sherlock. - THE POOL SCENE. - When they agree to die together. - THE. POOL. SCENE. - The way Sherlock reacted when John went all “captain-mode”. - The way Sherlock got defensive when he thought John doubted him. - “…as a conductor of light, you are unbeatable!” - Sherlock staring at John like THAT when he was apologising. - John getting jealous over Irene. - Sherlock obviously expressing disinterest in women. - John counting fifty-seven text messages. - Sherlock getting jealous of John’s girlfriends. - Sherlock not bothering to remember John’s girlfriend’s names. - “You’re a great boyfriend. Also John and Sherlock live together with a growing and developing child (Rosie). Two fathers basically. There is soooo much more I could add… (Sarcasm) But yeah. I guess you have a point. That's just a platonic friendship there, right?

yea, I always thought that until Rosie could understand what had happened, she would be in preschool telling her friends that she lived with her two dads (and her badass grandma, Ms. Hudson).

Facts!! They’re so in love and the show made sure of showing it. It’s strange how the writers hinted at them so much if they were against romantic Johnlock. Then don’t freaking mention how people talk about them on and off the show.

I didn’t realize it until rewatching this clip - but Sherlock was willing to sacrifice proving that he was clever for John. He was willing to risk his life to prove it - but he wasn’t willing to endanger John. He even flat out said that he was wrong about his deduction.

Which immediately gave him away to Lestrade. And the Lestrade being the tired Sherlock dad he is, decided to run with it. Because somebody has to look after Sherlock
