I remembered hearing this song on the radio driving down the Ventura Freeway and the radio announcer announced the song and said it was brand new. And I remember loving it with the windows down cruising on the freeway listening to this tune in Los Angeles it was awesome. My hair was flying was a beautiful day. Sheryl Crow rocks!❤️🫶🏼😘

That’s a great memory of yours. I had heard the song, maybe hadn’t appreciated as I should have. One morning my wife and I were exploring Cape Cod on vacation. We were drinking beer at 9 am on a Tuesday and the song came on the radio. It just grabbed me, and has been a favorite of mine ever since. Like’97, ‘98? I love her music.

"Working with the greats" Working with her peers. The humility of some of these stars is quite amazing. I worked at a music festival and actually heard this exchange between two well-known musicians: "Wow, man!" Am I ever glad to meet you! You blow me away!" "No, man! YOU blow ME away! I named my kid after you!" No word of a lie. They walked away after that, so I don't know how it progressed, but it was pretty awesome to see.

I saw her perform on a chilly day in July in Northern Minnesota. Right as she was hitting the chorus for "soak up the Sun", she got blasted by sleet, and actually asked the crowd "did that just happen?" If I remember correctly, she finished the show in a Beavers Hockey jersey. That was... whoa, more than a decade ago?... That can't be right. Wait - it checks out. I'm just old now. Thanks for the music and memories!

Sheryl has a quality with her music similar to Carole King... If you have not heard of or listened to Carole King... listen to her "Tapestry" album from back in the '70's, absolutely one of the finest singer / songwriter / storyteller albums of all time...seriously.

@ Sunset Captiva I Do Agree that Sheryl Crow, is very similar to Carole King with their original music, and talent of course!!! Blessedly, I grew up in the 60’s & ‘70s,…when Carole King Was “Queen!!” 😉 Pretty Certain that Ms. King’s “Tapestry” album, was one of the best selling albums of all time!! I was just 😂 in my car, Yesterday listening & singing along, to “Tapestry” yesterday!! Her music, (and others) helps me to “Zone In” & concentrate on the music!! It Helps!! CRAZY DRIVERS Don’t Bother Me much, if I’m Enjoying & Singing!! MANY MORE OF US NEED TO RELAX, Especially When Driving! Everyone Should LISTEN TO CAROLE KING & SHERYL CROW!! ☺️👍🏽😌🤩🥰.

I saw her on the BAD tour in London at Wembley Stadium before she was famous and had her hair dyed blonde . She also got sacked or dismissed from part of the tour allegedly because Michael was into her and she wasn't into him . Recently about a year ago she said she saw some strange things going on but she didn't want to go into specifics. Michael Jackson has the biggest selling album of all time in the world, but in the US, Britain and Japan he doesn't have the biggest selling album of all time.

"The lore was that a bunch of guys wrote my first album"...?!!! I hope whoever started that rumour got some kind of come-uppance, yuck. I've been a fan of Sheryl Crow since that first album dropped and part of the reason for that was *because* she is so clearly the driving artist. This is not 'lore' I'd heard, what a shitty thing to do/say. Her stuff is so well crafted - even the songs that don't 'grab me' are so well put together that musically there's still a lot to chew on or listen out for. Right, I'm off to put Steve McQueen on at full blast just to blow some cobwebs out. I aint takin sh*t off no-one baby that was yesterday... ...aahh, I can feel the 'oo, oo!' of that chorus bubbling up right now.
