Gentleman with Manaka Nemu pfp, you still around? If so, still delving into the cultured arts? What stage of degeneracy are you on, and what does await me, the humble, lowly and inexperinenced novice degenerate? Please spare but a fraction of your respectable wisdom!

This track reminds me a lot of "Host of Seraphim" by Dead Can Dance. That said, it has an intrinsic Japanese tinge in the female choir vibrato and other things that make this track all its own.

@@anomitas Meh. I'm personally just not a fan of the author's style. I can recognize the things that he does well, but it's just not something I particularly enjoy. My brother is super into like, all of his work and I've been made aware of most of the relevant plot details and stuff (he's been gushing about Gou for the past couple of months). Sounds neat, just not for me.

4+9=13 In Japan, 4 and 9 are unlucky numbers, because the names of the numbers in Japanese sound like the words for death and torture.

The lyrics (which may or may not be mere vocables with a Japanese phonology) seem to be: _Ikara kisara_ _Ikara e kisara(n) mo_

Lucius Faust the closest I could find is “angry beloved one” or something- kisara I think is Arabic, and the closest thing in Japanese I could find to Ikara is “ikari”- but ikara apparently means “fear” in some other language

Lucius Faust I think it might just be vocables, sung syllables without meaning. If you listen to "The Host of Seraphim" by Dead Can Dance (which has been used in tons of films), you can tell that this track is based heavily on it. Vocalist Lisa Gerrard sings mere vocables in it and other DCD songs, so I think that's all it is for this song as well.
