Got my 2 bikes equipped with 105s. One is a roadie with a medium/long cage rear deralleur another is a minivelo with a short cage RD. Both r using brifter 105 r7000. I also put a RD protector each. Never have an issue with em. Affordable n reasonable group set though (since i cant afford an Ultegra or Dura Ace 😅).

Nope. This one is for road bike. Theres a difference. You might want to look for mountainbike RD. Shimano Deore is a good start

New cables housing fresh shifters and derailleur greased up well and indexed to perfection 👍

It’s not hard…even Sora shifts this smooth. The industry has led you to believe that you need electronic shifting….

the housing is too long though~ and using metal barrel on the derailleur end will be much better

@@rv9590 yes, it works. I'm using 50-34 chainring, 11-32 cassette with a short cage derailleur, just make sure you size your chain length correctly

There are 2 levers. One for up and one for down in each shifters

@@buggyd4752 theres 2 movement of the shifter. Pull backward will engage the brakes. Shift inwards (ex right shifter. Right inwards to left) will move the cogs either up or down. Depending which lever you press the big one or the small one
