@@mikephalen3162 Translation: You've never watched Jerry Maguire. It's not a lightweight movie at all. It's a film about how the typical money only minded sports agent begins to see his clients as people and not cash grabs, and it focuses on the loyalty between him and the only client he had left when he got fired over his new found convictions, as well as that of his sole employee. Cruise is both hilarious with his frustrations over his misfortune and the demeanor of Cuba Gooding Jr. But just as dramatically authentic over his relationships and new perspectives. Shine is the typical movie and performance that awards voters think they're supposed to vote for when most of them never see the film more than once after their first viewing. The Oscars are political anyway.
