this is a great idea. i toyed with the idea for some time and was stoked when it arrived. however... for a few weeks i would practice on the shinobix at home (i have a room in a shared house so i was being considerate) and my pocket carry during those weeks was a hohner puck, i would occasionally take out my puck and have a little blast on that. then one day i took out another of my full size hohners and i was shocked to find my tone had become terrible! the 20% volume drop coupled with the extra large (i believe) bottom cover had been ruining my embouchere and i had not noticed the difference by sound alone plus the small size of my puck had failed to highlight my developing bad habit of not having enough of the harp in my mouth to produce good tone, simply by being so small. i put the shinobix away and have not used it since to be fair but i still think it is a great idea and if at any point i get complaints from neighbours or housemates then i will use it again but this time armed with the knowledge that i must focus on maintaining a good embouchere. fortunately the only complaint i have had from one of my housemates is they would prefer i practice louder! lol i honestly think she is just being kind and supportive, which is definitely cool i reckon. i wonder has anybody else found this happens with the shinobix?

I haven't had that problem, but it is definitely something to watch for. Thanks for sharing 👍

May I ask...which Suzuki harmonicas can be assembled to fit the Shinobix? Suzuki's website reads "Suzuki diatonic harmonica users have a choice to use "User's set" and attach your harmonica's body to SHINOBIX covers".
