"A lady in a pipe chair in the parking lot? Another customer said that she hasn't been seen much lately."
A woman who works at Shinodayama Shinchi continues the story while puffing on a thinly rolled cigarette about an old woman who touts her to take care of her spilled food.
She said, "I heard that you can only meet when (Shinodayama) is not open,
I never saw the old lady. It feels like an urban legend."
On her way home, she asked a store employee about it, but she gave a blunt reply, "I don't know who that person is. It has nothing to do with us."
Commonly known as Mt. Urashinoda. A tout that appears only when the lights are turned off. I walked Shinodayama Shinchi again in search of the disappeared old woman with a pipe chair.
