This video requires knowing a little background of the band and the build up to the point of this video. It reveals the return of the much loved original female singer of STG after her absence and replacement by someone else. No one knew about her return until the release of this video and in the end it has a very heart warming and powerful feeling for most STG fans. So for them, this is a strong Short film.

Tears are literally streaming down my face right now. When Carah took her hood off, I literally busted into tears. There are no words to describe how incredibly much I love this band...with every fiber of my being. Shiny Toy Guns has been my favorite band for so long now, but now that the the original, beautiful people I fell in love with are back together again, I can honestly say that the joy I am feeling right now is indescribable. Welcome home, Carah Faye...and long live Shiny Toy Guns!

Love that Carah is back. As someone who does not drink or smoke is so nice to have people in music to look up to and/or just relate with. I love the music but having that takes it to another level. The only thing I don't like in some videos/interviews some band members seem to give her a hard time. What is up with that? I want to like the whole band but that sours things for me a bit. Leave my straight edge sister alone :) Go PMA!

This video is absolutely beautiful, ethereal & symbolic in so many ways that representing a reunion in any other way would not have had the same impact. When I first heard STG it took me back to a time in my life that I forgot I loved to so much. Season of Poison brought me back to the present with a new & different energy. With Carah back STG can pick up where they left off! Welcome back Carah and thank you Sisley for adding you're own voice to some very memorable songs.

This is AWESOME news!!!... the best thing I've heard all week. Granted, I thought "Season Of Poison" was a decent album, but it didn't even compare to "We Are Pilots". And Sisely was ok, but she didn't have the vocal range and stage presence that Carah did. I think all of us missed Carah like CRAZY. So glad to have her back... and welcome to the band Daniel. So what about that cover of Calling Home or something about the man in space that they did for that car commercial recently? Was that Sisely? And that was more recent than 3 years ago so it hasnt been that long. I liked the girl in that cover song. Dont know how I feel about her not being in the group. Out like that after a popular commercial song? Then she voluntarily left? Im suspicious.

@frenchfriedverzuh As the Grand Emperor Silver Phoenix, I wholeheartedly agree. All one needs to do is listen to Frozen Oceans to understand how Sisley had her time and place with the band. Carah coming back is simply amazing, but both girls have true singing ability for different reasons and equally fantastic on their OWN merits. Have some appreciation for real singers, and not these manufactured twats that music companies throw together to make a buck. It's about the music, and SHINY TOY GUNS
@morganvachon

@frenchfriedverzuh I don't understand the hate towards her either, though I will say I'm glad she's gone and Carah is back. I don't think Sisely was ever a good fit for the band, and I think they knew that with the album title "Season of Poison". It's as if they knew it would be a dark period for them. I personally feel Sisely, while talented, is more of a pop-tart style artist whereas the rest of them are truly innovative musicians, always ready to explore new ground. Welcome back Carah!

Choking back tears. Amazing video, was not disappointed at all. Glad I saw it on the website so that Carah Faye's reveal was not spoiled for me. I freaked. Sisely got kind of a bad rap from most fans but I thought she did a good job and she will be missed. But there's no question who the right person for the job is in my mind. If this is all just a huge marketing ploy - I don't care. I'm in. I'll pay $50 for the new album if necessary.

@MihaiLouis Cuz it is the song from inception haha. It's called "Time", the one that plays at the very end, when they are walking through the airport in the US. I can't decide if this doesn't bother me because it fits the short film so well, or if I don't like it because it was already used perfectly in an amazing movie.
@ccantu32film

I definitely prefer this to the album version, even though this instrumental is actually from "Inception." But Carah sounds so beautiful at the end. I wish they did the song much slower and possibly make it a piano ballad, but the album version is still good.

Allow me to play devils advocate here but if Carah and Daniel are now in STG and they have creative influence on the band (and I can't imagine them agreeing to join if that wasn't the case) doesn't that make Versant a little redundant? After all 2 of the original 5 have left Versant.
