Well done. Glad you are servicing this Elliott. . . . I have many old bulkhead clocks, and I am disappointed by all the old fingerprints left from previous service. With time, the prints etch into to metal. When I handle my clocks now, I always use cheap white cotton gloves or surgical type rubber gloves.

Yea I know about the etching my fingers are pretty dry so it isn't as big of a problem for me and I try to do my best to only hold it by the the sides but that isn't always an option. I have gloves for it but I only tend to use them for the French mantle clocks after they come polished outof the rotary tumbler because I find it almost impossible to work on a clock movement while wearing gloves.

The 7 jewels are as follows : 4 on the balance staff (2 hole jewels and 2 capstones, a one of each type for the top and bottom pivots of the staff), one roller jewel on the roller table and two pallet stones in the pallet fork.

Interesting video. It looks like when you wind this clock the seconds hand would run up against the winding key but maybe that is not a problem.

Yes that is indeed true but it is not a problem sinds you woundn't leave the key on there anyway.

Enjoy your content thanks for your efforts. Did you oil the balance jewels or pull it apart to clean?
@Mr-Wonderfull

Yes I did pull it appart to clean. Not completely I didn't open the contre pivots. Because after I cleaned it like that they where clean on the inside and there is always a risk envolved when you open them. And than after that I oil them. The rest you can see in the video.

OK I am only 2'20" into this video and I don't want to watch more. You are not confident in your use of tools and you do not seem to be trained.

This is my job and I did went to school for it. But every watch and clock is different and sometimes you just got to make it up as you go. But if you dont want to watch that it's up too you.
