With the Canadian variants of these, the Shock Top hits the citrus and coriander really nicely and the Blue Moon is a lot more malty tasting. I much prefer the Shock Tops, as I find the Blue Moon have an off taste for a witbier

I am guessing that this would be a tie, for me.

Great review, the problem i have with these two brews is that after 4 I'm guaranteed to have a hangover in the morning.... something i NEVER get drinking Bud Ice, Colt45, Old English, Icehouse and heavy IPAS....

Hmmm? That's weird. Some beers do give me a mild hang over and some don't. I work 2nds so it's beer after 11 for me. On work night, I avoid IPA's or stuff that's too heavy.

I like the subdued flavor of blue moon compared to other wheats. It makes it more palatable and tastier. The stronger wheats are a bit overwhelming to me

Yeah some of them can be a bit strong if your not used to them.

I don’t drink either one. If I want a Belgian White I drink Hoegaarden. You should check it out if you’re looking to try a genuine Belgian White.

Both these beers are made to mimic the hoegaarden flavour, with the citrus peel and coriander. Hoegaarden is definitely the best of the three but these are cheaper in America, and I find Shock Top hits the citrus and coriander notes way nicer, despite the beer part not really holding up to a hoegaarden
