Not sure if I my wife and I fit your demographic but it is possible to to be married and not cheat on your wife. 40 years of marriage, up,s and downs and even being $420,000.00 in debt which left us $93.00 in the bank. So why would I want to cheat on my wife when i took vows that I would honor her? What we must remember is the price for sin is heavy, very heavy. I’m so sorry that this young brother couldn’t keep the vow of his marriage however Gods grace is sufficient. There is no woman walking on the planet that is worth my soul. The $420k debt? Is gone paid in full And through all of that Gods grace kept us

You are a breath of fresh air and you speak with clarity about honoring God. Sad to say a lot of men don't honor God this way. They're bonded in perversion and carnal minded . Getting married is a sacred act of two people taking vows and going before God asking him to bless the marriage. Unfortunately most people leave God out after they get married and that is why marriage doesn't work. God bless you for honoring your vows and staying the course!🙏❤️

This man’s story is just like mine smh, men are not thought to have self worth so we look at sex totally different than how women do. Now the journey to becoming that man that understands what it mean to have self worth and to stop sleeping with a bunch of girls is hard work within it self, just looking at girl alone is like second nature to us , growing up as a West Indian man i saw men get praised for sleeping with girls and if you don’t you are called names for it, so now as a grown man it’s hard to break those bad habits that you thought was cool. I am now on this crazy journey that will most likely make me loose friends and that’s ok, respect to this man for sharing his secrets with everyone to indulge in, what he have done is hard and should 🐝 respected.

His message on taking accountability rings so true. My ex husband cheated on me in the first year of marriage and my intuition told me. He never admitted it until 10+ years later in marriage counseling when he was trying to manipulate his way out of admitting his present cheating. It hurt me so bad that he was so conniving to admit it to a third party instead of me, solely to get out of being open & honest to address things head on. I knew enough then to decide that was the nail in the coffin for me. I left the marriage and never looked back. Mistakes are mistakes, but accountability helps people own them. Poor behavior patterns go beyond mistakes. Some cheaters fall into the act from a desperate place. Others plan, lie, manipulate, gaslight, etc. to keep cheating as long as they think they can get away with it.

At 42::50 Ryan says he’s a firm believer that a good man can cheat. Look up the word cheat. There is no good in the definition of that word. It’s crazy to me that after ALL of these guests and lessons that this is still a belief. There’s a quote that states: When you know better, you do better. What you know, you are accountable for. You have to be VERY careful with your words and what you do to others because it will CERTAINLY come back to you. Those who love themselves and their mate are exclusive with their bodies. Sharing your body outside of your relationship AND standing by a person who does such dishonors you both. It’s a huge risk-health wise, mentally and spirituality. I wish people loved themselves more. We have to do better.

This was really really good!! 44:15 reminded me of this scripture : “But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”” John 8:1-11 NKJV It’s really interesting that men wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery but not the man committing adultery with her. Jesus acknowledged what she did was wrong but pointed out the hypocrisy of the men when he told them “he who has never sinned throw the first rock” and no one could because they had all sinned. I’m 100% against cheating man or woman but it’s interesting the reaction when a MAN FORGIVES a woman for cheating on him vs a woman who forgives a man for cheating yet it exposes the hypocrisy in ALL OF US. We all want grace but we never want to give grace yet we sin against our Maker every single day and EXPECT to be forgiven, interesting species we are, thank God for his mercy. Great episode, lots to learn from! Bring my friend Latty back! 🙏🏾

This is truly an epidemic that’s rarely spoken of, and the danger here is that drained mothers can sometimes lack the strength (and/or the skills) to truly nurture their children… and kids learn their base behaviors and priorities at young ages from their parents. Mothers are usually the primary role models of intimacy, and creating nurturing environments for children. We talk a lot about daddy issues, but don’t talk enough about “mommy issues” that exist in our community, due to the lack of emotional intimacy that is very prevalent and emotionally unavailable men are often a byproduct of emotionally unavailable/drained mothers.

It is not if you marry your best friend…be equally yoked. Sometimes women want to do every thing for everyone and I blame society for that. We are only now learning to be soft, vulnerable and allowing ourselves to be tired. Having that conversation BEFORE marriage is very important - what are your expectations, what do you want out of this union…honest conversations that are ONGOING…because life happens sometimes. My husband and I live off the following: When I am weak he is strong, where he is weak I am strong, where we both are weak, we will outsource (get help)- it’s worked perfectly for us and we both are very happy and constantly check in with each other

Love his honesty and transparency!!! Because a lot of men are out here cheating! Not all men but more than most! It’s awesome that a man, a brother is starting this conversation and talking from a man’s point of view and perspective! Not to mention and man of God! This was awesome!!! I pray that men can hear and receive from this brother!

Wow! What a powerful topic, thank you to the speaker for being vulnerable with us..... And thank you to the host for building men from inside out. Man hold hold power as heads, as long as we have broken men, we will have broken relationships, broken marriages and broken families that will produce broken children and the circle wont stop because it can only stop with Men, healing and taking back/reclaiming their positions as leads

I love watching both of these podcasts. I love the gems of knowledge being shown on all the episodes. I learn something on each episode. I pray both podcasts be available on open forums as they are for years to come. I’ll always chose to watch these podcasts. Lord bless these men with God fearing, prayer warriors, agape love with the peace of God ladies in all their lives. Please be safe, careful, alert, intentional in your ways in these open platform streets. The Devil is in sheep clothing. People are not whom they seem to be. Stay strong men and peace of Gods coverage on your lives & the good work y’all doing. Please do more collaborations with Mr My Future Wifey! I truly pray your future wifey comes soon.

Why are yall saying marriage brings out the worst in you? I disagree. Marriage brings out who you really are. Marriage is a beautiful thing if you are with the right person, it should bring out the best of you.

I always say this 💀 and maybe it’s a function of my youth but if we got to the point where we’re married, i should know you at your core, our values should align, and I should trust you with my life. Some of these struggles these married couples talk about I’m like .. I don’t even think the foundation of a covenant marriage was truly there.

Good informative and very much appreciated. You all opened my eyes to many things that my husband is doing even now. He's also a narcissist, so that's another level issues that he has. And that's driving him even the more to cheat, lie, manipulate, and mistreat his family. But I appreciate your platform and the transparency of your situation. More people need to hear this, especially the cheaters. It may open them up to seek help.

it is important when the other party takes accountability for ones' action. Thank you, Laterras, for mentioning this because this hit me hard. My ex-husband refused to accept and apologize for the hurt, pain and the infidelities. We have a child together and it has been one of the hardest healing processes for me. I still have to communicate with this man, and it can be very difficult at times. New Subbie here "Hardly Initiated".

God send Mr. Laterras in our lives to break generational curses, to educate us about ourselves, each other and what it means to walk in obedience to God. God bless all of you in your work, transparency and the willingness to be humble enough to talk about hardcore subjects.

Now that is sooooo very true, folk should be responsible in being ACCOUNTABLE for their actions. It is sad enough but it's really disrespectful for a woman to call herself a queen or a boss lady while sleeping with a married man and saying it doesn't matter because they are separated WOWWW..... They are still married and if you see that as as a commitment to you, girl WATCHOUT because no way he's not going to stay committed to you.....if you've got to sneak, hide, move away OR anything unordinary that's not the one that you think.....

OMG, as a divorcee and my marriage dissolving due infidelity (and other things) this was so enlightening to hear this from a male perspective. I can only hope that those who see this are honest with themselves, make their needs known and make their relationships a priority! He truly dropped some gems on this. Also, I feel like he needs to get back with the first wife because clearly there's a respect and reverence still there for her and that's a great starting point.
