It's the right frame of mind if seeking a long-term partner, but it has to be mutual, and unfortunately most people aren't thinking in these terms. In other words, if all the single women are only seeking Chads and Tyrones, then it doesn't mater if you are seeking a deeper connection. (This is where I'm stuck. I'm not into casual, but women are now dating as if all they want is casual whether or not they'd prefer something deeper.)

@@misanthrophex I find it very suspicious that she is "tougher on the men". "Men love validation. They say something and the woman agrees. She supports them. My whole role is to invalidate their thoughts and experiences." So, she attacks the very thing that men desire in a serious relationship. How is this helpful? Why is she breaking down the ego of the men? I suspect the men are targeted because they are the ones with the money, therefore it is beneficial to her to manipulate the men. There's no motive to breakdown the women because they are harder to manipulate and there's nothing to be gained for her by doing it.

I don’t think most relationships are focused on in depth communications because men and women are usually very different in character and intellectual and emotional outlook. This is ok since as long as each partner fulfills their role in the relationship, both are likely to perceive the transaction as favorable and not be compelled to have a lot of talking. Relationships where there is the perception that there needs to be a lot of communication, are relationships with a lot of problems and conflict.

Not sure do I agree there is only two types of high achievers. To me bit shallow interprenation how men are. I think I know lot of men who are pretty succesful but just look for emotional and sexual satisfaction from partner. Intellectual parity can be really shallow too.
