Whatever happened to the Wild East, the First Frontier? Long gone and forgotten. I once met a man on a trout stream who said he was a history teacher with concentration on Native America, who didn't know who Little Turtle was, the genius Miami chief. So sad, so sad. King Philip's War was not "the first Indian war", the English fought with the Powhatan Empire fifty years earlier. Custer's Last Stand was not the worst defeat suffered at the hands of the natives, St. Claire's Defeat, suffered while Washington was still President, lost almost half of the Continental Army to the forces of Chief (you guessed it) Little Turtle. Why is this stuff not taught popularly, because it's not as glamorous as horse riding savages falling down while whooping like banshees? Who knows, I don't.

Your videos are extremely biased and one-sided. You need to explain all angles of the subject matter...for instance, in order to understand the "Sand Creek Massacre", you must be informed about the Minnesota Massacre, which was far more violent and where innocent farmers, (mostly women and children) were slaughtered by Native American Warriors. During this period of time, The American Civil War was going on and most of the men were back east fighting in the war.

Agreed, the Indians are people of honor integrity hospitality. They stand for what's right. They love the land and are open, warm, fair, and welcoming. The only reason they would retaliate is because there way of life, food land, and people are threatened and dishonored. If people went onto their land accidentally, they made an approach of peace. You either gave them game something of value to settle the issue of coming on their land. If the Indians knew you had women with you who had no ties to a man, the trust passers had to give their women to the Indians. The white man giving their woman to the Indians is probably how I inherited Native American ancestry bloodline. I'm guessing I don't know. I wasn't there during the 1800s. 🤷
