You make us look petty when you remind people about that. It’s best to let them use whatever language they want as long as we continually remind them the June 2020 riots ended the gun debate forever. We have drawn a permanent line in the sand.

I liked it, especially the bit involving the secret email. My only qualms are 1) she would’ve likely taken herself off the case once her AP came on the defense, but she would’ve at least told her superior, even if only informally, so once she went missing they would’ve known right where to look, and 2) maybe I missed something, but the state always defers to feds first since they serve 100% of federal sentences…if a defendant gets 120 years from the feds there won’t be a point to the state wasting money. I wonder how an ADA could be taken in by a sleazy mob lawyer who she knows she could easily have to face in court and being a married woman, but sadly it’s not that outlandish.

At the 55:00 point my GF still eating breakfast told me that kind of unethical conduct can not only get both of them disbarred, but can also get them charged with several crimes. This was why when she was a prosecutor she never socialized with other attorneys or anybody that was a part of their firms. That's not to say she never had a working lunch or speak to an opposing counsel about plea bargains etc. For a prosecuting attorney to do this can cause self-harm to their bar card. The rules are explicit.

Why is OP not telling the detectives about the sleazy lawyer.
@chrismoore9997
3 ай бұрын
Because he would not have been allowed to involve himself in the rescue. Telling the police would have been the correct answer and he should have shown them the emails instead of deleting them. That was evidence.
@ScottSchellman

Because the police have to go through a legal process to investigate. The only reason the wife is still alive(possibly he thinks) is that the authorities have no idea where to look. If they go and question the lawyer or get caught surveilling him, his most likely course of action will be to order her immediate death and burial in a shallow grave, and he can’t risk that. These two detectives might have agreed and helped him, but even risking that was too much.

You are a petty petty man and you make the antis think we all are when you post dumb stuff. How about you just tell them, no matter what garbage they spew, that the June 2020 riots ended the gun debate forever and there will be no further discussion? Instead of that, you probably post this every time you hear clip. And I mean, you hear “hair clip” and you think about the closet of charged mags you have 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

Great story. Really. Good plot, satisfying conclusion. The only thing I am apprehensive about is him marrying the wild woman. I do believe that some women can change, but they are statistically rare. First wife Whitney was in a job notorious for all kinds of immorality and arrogant behavior. Lawyers, nurses and medical people, schoolteachers, and SAHM’s are all notoriously high statistics for cheating. I know many members of all those professions that are singularly models of morality. They would never cheat. But you take somebody in the largest cities and with the corruption exposed to, the loose living of others, and I believe the effect rubs off. I have also seen and known of people who, I guess women especially, who lived like a 304, and actually did become serious after a while and committed. The best way is through the blood of Jesus Christ. But I think also if One would be convinced of absolute morality, and the absolute concept of right and wrong, they might be able to be saved. Possibly make a decent companion. But I think for most cases probably 90% and above the old saying once a cheater always a cheater holds true.

@@psudobuddha I hope I'm wrong about the use of quotes, but if they are to imply he wasn't a hero, I'll beg to differ. Everyone who puts themselves in harm's way to protect the rest of us have already earned that title. Especially when there are medals.
