Is boron a problem for turf managers? The answer to this question is generally "no" unless there is boron toxicity. Since grasses require about one-quarter the amount of boron needed by most other plants and its greatest need is during flowering and seed development, boron deficiency is unlikely to be a problem for the turf manager.
