Out helping my mate Scott with one of his contracts tonight, shooting rabbits at the golf course
.
Due to the close proximity to roads and housing, we are both running FX Impact air rifles chambered in .22 cal and 18.13gr JSB pellets @ 890 fps.
HikMicro Panther PQ50L thermal scope for me and Scott is using the Pard DS35-50 day/night scope.
On handheld scanner duties is the brand new HikMicro Habrok HX60 1280 resolution thermal binoculars, sporting a 1000m laser rangefinder, built in infrared illuminator and night-vision.
For those interested, rabbits are not native to Australia and are considered an invasive pest. When left unmanaged rabbits have the ability to breed up in huge numbers very quickly. They live underground in burrows which pose hazards for livestock, people and pets, resulting in large amounts of erosion.
Lots of laughs and banter as usual and a great result on the bunnies.
Thanks for watching
Don't forget to say G'day
