When I was in elementary school, the teacher would always ask me to roll up the film screen at the end of the film because I sat in front. When I was small, we had these door to door salesmen suddenly flooding our area trying to sell chip-resistant, shatter-proof glass plates and dishes. I remember my great grandmother trying to get into the local convenience store/deli, and one of these men was posted outside, basically blocking her and trying to talk to her about the dishes and how great they were. Finally, indesperation he was like, "theyre shatterproof, theyre amazing" and flung one down, and it shattered into a million shards on the concrete, and they both just stared awkwardly at it. Wheb I saw Napoleon Dynamite and Kip tries to back over the tupperware and it explodes, it brought me right back to being a small child, and my family laughing over the poor dish guy (who in retrospect was probably in some kind of multilevel marketing feverdream)
