We Germans love rules and tidiness and silence. Another point is that I usually wake up when someone turns the light on, which is so obnoxious. But if it's possible to open up my super thick blackout curtains slowly enough, I could get up softly and calm, turn off my alarm and hear soft music while I stretch to get up a little better.

@kelsey2333 terribly cruel. In some cultures, the whole female part of both families comes over and the mom rests for 6 weeks in bed while the other women take care of the children, pets, house and garden, lunch, groceries etc. They also care for the baby when mommy needs sleep or if she wants to use the bathroom. I mean, after giving birth, I'll go home with my baby boy as fast as possible because I don't like to stay in hospital, share my room with a stranger person and I also don't want to hear a stranger baby cry. I am wondering if 10-20 years from now the increase of brain cancer will result from these bluetooth devices, electronics and phones constantly (day and night) near the brain/head.
