Thanks for the tour! Interesting that so much of the shop is storage space, upstairs and the ground level. But then again, with any business there's always storage needed. Tools and equipment storage, finished goods/products storage, storage for replacement parts and equipment. And everyone needs storage for personal items! Love the bowling alley lane for a work bench top! Freaking awesome idea! Repurposed for another whole lifetime! That gerauge is a thing of beauty to me.. It's a real simple concept really you can build that shell building isolated for less that 75 thousand less than the caust of a conventional frame three bedroom house in Florida, there's steel workers that will do this in a heart beet. IT has perma frost heat threw the concrete Flore free. You park your motor home, th wheel travel trayler inside hook it up to power sewer, and water,, AND YOU LIVE LIKE KING TUT. You can't hide from storms in this building with your motorhome hurricanes tornadoes I don't know winter storm yes spring storms yes summer storms yes you're going to hide from them in this building with your motor home and you can do it cheap..! Move everything outside hold a bar mitzvah hold a kensay, hold Church or have a rock-in-role concert inside all of which will pay for that building and all of the stuff you had to add to it in one year..! Conventional construction 3 bedrooms homes in the people that build them you are done.. you want too much for your pitiful existence of a house..!

Wow!... A place for everything and everything in it's place!... That's what uncompromised planning looks like!... and I rather imagine your father when he goes to replace a part, he buys at least two of them because if it broke once... I say at least two because of all the buildings and equipment he maintains... Time is his most valuable ally because when it is thought out and well spent, it pays dividends!... It would be most advantageous for anyone yourself included to pay attention to his footprint of where he has traveled because he doesn't make step one without having thought about which direction he's going... Much respect!... Thanks for your documenting it!...

I have installed quite a few radiant heat systems like you have in shops your size and larger. It's the only way to go. You pull in a piece of equipment at the end of the day, even if it's covered in snow and by morning it's melted off and dry, ready to work on. I also have old bowling allies for counter tops in my house. I'd fit right in there. ;)
