The Pfaltzgraff Jug was one of 3 pieces known as The Archive Collection. There were 2 crocks and that jug in the collection, and they were originally offered for sale by special order in the early 1990's. They are scaled down reproductions of items made in the 1870's, with the originals housed in the York Historical Society Museum.

23:33 Your looking at the sweet little bird art...with plastic frames,reminds me of two pieces of art my mom bought me for my bedroom when I was a little girl in the mid 60s. They were cheap 5x7 prints from 2 famous 18th century paintings of a boy holding a dog and a girl holding a cat. Mine were framed in blond wood-look plastic. On the back of both are the Woolworth price stickers of 10 cents. They have virtually no monetary value now, but they're priceless to me. I have them displayed in my keepsake cabinet and looking at them warms my heart. I don't have any children, but I'm so glad I held on to them. I'll always keep them with me and someone can throw them away if they want when I'm gone. 🩷

It a thing for people to hunt for skulls and shed antlers and good money in it as well. In fact my son has one drying out in the back yard rather sun bleaching it. The Eldreth bird was my favorite, pottery is habitual! Nothing looks better in my opinion either in a living room dining room or kitchen than pottery as an accent an art piece or decor of course usable pottery. Just love it.

Hey, Karen! Love your videos, and I’ve followed you for a long time! FYI, “Nippon”. On a porcelain piece is from Japan, dates 1891-1921. “The Nippon era began in 1891 when the Japanese porcelain was clearly marked "Nippon" due to the McKinley Tariff Act. This act required that all porcelain be marked with the country of origin.” Hope this helps! ❤

I wish resellers would show more of the reality of reselling as in show how Long things sit, complaints, what didn't sell. Everyone always shows their successes which is why people get discouraged and honestly are frustrated with youtube resellers because it is always displayed as if everything you buy is sold:)I love watching your channel and by no means am I bashing you or anyone, it's just an observation and i think if someone like yourself showed that it isn't as smooth as videos portray then i think it would help a lot of people:) 😊

Karen does mention time to time items that sit too long for her eBay acct; such as women’s jeans-which she is selling down. She is a long-tale seller so her turnover isn’t a blow out. She also will mention items that used to do great but then they got saturated on eBay so she stopped picking those items up.

I do think having a show and tell of DUDS would be rather interesting. When I watch her shopping I feel like almost everything is awesome. I would not be able to discern the good from the duds. I know resellers rely a lot on “solds” and “listed” on eBay. Also descriptions are key-using all the words.
@eggsteadgardens2655

@@CopingwithGrattitudealthough she does briefly talk about things that don't sell it isn't centered around that. Obviously it's her channel and she can run it how she wants but I think having that as a topic would really bring in another side to the reselling community:)

My mom had a round sewing basket exactly like the one at Brenda's booth. That brought back fond memories. Would love to shop her booth! Love that Eland antelope skull, the scallop shell mirror, . Some people now refer to the Tradescantia as Wandering Dude or just Inch plant. Miss watching you shop for the costume jewelry at the private thrift shop. I've been tearing down my dining room to make it into my inventory room and it is progressing slowly but surely. Excited for that transformation and use.

I agree in the cart. I’ve tried a cart a wagon and a big ikea bag. The bag wasn’t bad but the cart and wagon ugh!!! Always in the way. Very hard to maneuver the crowds and someone tried to walk off with it so I couldn’t look at everything on the table cause I was worried about someone stealing it. I actually sold the cart to a vendor before leaving. The wagon I will use for the grandkids. I’d rather make multiple trips to the car. Good exercise. 😊

To be honest, some of the rings and brooches at the jewelry table looked like "vintage style" which was popular about 10 years ago. Vintage jewelry isn't what it was during Mad Men times but it's had increased popularity recently with the thrifting trend. I used to sell jewelry right before and during the Mad Men Era and many on KZitem that currently sell it aren't the most knowledgeable but Hudson Vintage is an excellent one to learn from. She knows her stuff. It's surprisingly back breaking to take the detailed photos of the jewelry (front and back) so I'd get a good lightbox camera setup. You are correct, Wandering Jew is not an allowed name in many plant/gardening groups. I think some say Wandering Dude or the scientific name of Tradescantia zebrina.

The Pyrex vendor didn’t have flea market prices; more like eBay prices
@pamelagardner4191
4 ай бұрын
When I think of eBay prices, I always add the cost of shipping because as a buyer, that's what I pay - therefore, his price was less. The Pyrex vendor didn't have it priced to sell quickly, for sure. He's not considering the risk of damage sitting out on a table like that and schlepping back and forth.
