Congratulations on reaching this milestone, if there is a surprise to be had it is that you do not have more subscribers than this. You have made some very informative videos far better than those on other channels where they have got more subscribers. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do.

Thank you. Some more in the pipeline and planned. I enjoy researching and making them and am just glad people enjoy watching them.

Well done Bob. It just goes to show how much interest there is in railways, past present and future, and in other transportation links, and local history.

Love the movies, love anything to do with the City where I grew up. Many of the things you film I know, but more I had no idea about.

@@bobsrailrelicsI noticed you were at Little Man Coffee Company. That's my favourite café in Cardiff, so I recognise the bars of their vault. Often sat in there when Nintendo South Wales holds events downstairs, in what I refer to as "Hacker's corner", tinkering with consoles for people.

Well done mate. Always amazed by how much has changed (and been forgotten) in such a short space of time. Thanks for bringing the past back for us.

I hope you will put the "off the tracks" stuff also in regular videos, since Shorts are very painful to watch on a TV and can't be added to a queue of regular videos on the Chromecast.

Yes all the Off The Tracks will be normal videos. The KZitem shorts are just adverts in reality 😊

Congratulations, Bob. The quality and content of your videos - not to mention the time and effort you expend to make them - is being recognised: you're "building a brand"! BTW, do you have a copy of "Forgotten Railways: Vol 8, South Wales" by James Page? It's an excellent source of information.

Thanks, I only have a phone and a small microphone so I am glad they come out so well. I'll have a look at the book, I have so many I have picked up recently, my bookcase needs an audit!

@bobsrailrelics I think you'll find it a very interesting read. He also wrote "Rails in the Valleys".

Local social history. Coast line along Lavernock. Many gun emplacements, or there was, built to protect shipping in Bristol channel. Many experimental weapons tested in this area, for D Day use. Trials of anti ship rocketry. We used those gun emplacements in the 60’s for shall we say, ‘canoodling’ 😂. I had a foreman in the 60’s when an apprentice, who was stationed there. WW2. In Royal Artillery. Just a thought best wishes with your totals.

No I don't. Have them all over the place and did have some in Ash at one point, but they moved some years ago.
