Where are your fire extinguishers, and what types are they? I assume you have some in both rooms.

I didn't see any fire extinguishers around, could this be why he's been gone so long? Its possible that he had an accident and could be why he hasn't returned. Its been two years, 2019 and 2020. Not a video. Not a photo. Not a reply to a comment, not a message, not a sign of continued existence. This is just a guess, but could be true.

What kind of lab jack do you use. All of them seem to have bad reviews about being weak and wobbly.

this is how i want my home lab to be. i like how you manage your water supply, and that vacuum header. vacuum pumps are very expensive and to go with the vacuum venturi jet is more affordable. but you must consider water pressure.

what a beautiful lab :DD why don't you study chemistry and go to a professional lab where you are payed to do this thing?? :D
@David-fh6rr

masterlab LAB in a professional lab you don't work to explore the science or to do fun experiments. Most of the time have a daily procedure of sample preperation, measurement and repeat. Only if you work in research, you can work more free. However, you still have your extremely narrow theme or project to research on. Don't get me wrong, work as a chemist can be exciting, but mostly it's just standard procedures.

Nice, like the setup, I've been thinking of making a mini lab for just the little fun experiments, (im just a junior in high school but am in AP chemistry, so I know safety and the works) would you be able to tell me where I can get some more cheep glassware, and where you get some of your chemicals?
@STROONZONY

+CaptinCCat i can help a bit because I know all the chemistry video producers get these questions all the time and they are probably a bit exhausted with answering!! good quality glassware can be ordered on ebay. The tip is, to buy from the ebay seller, who only sells lab glass and lab equipment. Dont buy glassware from sellers who sell 1000's of random items. there are many videos with tips on sourcing OTC (over the counter) chemicals), which may relate to your part of the world. Some chemicals can be sourced from ebay. Most chemicals are hard to source, unless you work in a lab, but after a while you should be able to find different OTC chemicals to distil or synthesize. Remember that it takes a lot of work to produce videos, so keep questions to a minimum, so our great vid producers can spend more time producing rather than answering questions. You should be able to find answers to most questions by looking through existing comments.

+CaptinCCat On ebay, I'd recommend the two sellers sam100 and dechem and as GEEZA1 says don't buy stuff from random sellers, as the quality and shipping times are much worse and longer.

What I would give to have the same set up. Also the set up on the lab bench is a keten lamp for making acetic anhydride
