EN: MAŁOSOLNE = short-lactofermented cucumbers - a typical seasonal treat in Poland. Well, seasonal only at good, clean, fair farmers who grow cucumbers free of agessive pesticides.
We are awaiting cucumber season. For now, heavily chemicalized ones are available in stores and markets - not good.
At the wonderful archaeological festival #LudzieOgnia (people of the fire) at the Archaeological Museum in Wrocław next Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23, you will be able to ask for details and find out...
... why, how, and whether it is right to say that "the ancient Romans did not lactoferment" (meaning of lactic fermentation),
as well as...
... where and how Italians lactoferment and how their lactofermenting differs from Slavic and Polish lactofermenting:)
If you are in Wroclaw these days, come and visit the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum (Dept. @city_museum_wroclaw) to take part in numerous workshops organized by distinguished organizers from the Wrocław City Museum!:) Inviting together with @Slow Food Dolny Śląsk!
