Thinking about a titanium frame, not sure if would be a name brand frame though!

That trail system has a little bit of everything! Do you have a techy climb in the area? That's where I feel that the frame shines the most, it's literally a mountain goat
@chickensendies

That is a good point! There are some very fun techy climbs for sure! Just not very long HAHAHAHA

I absolutely love mine. The bike really has a different feel to it; making my tried and true setup feel off. Took a little longer than expected to dial it in the cockpit and tires (brand, model, width , pressure, etc.) but she’s perfect now.

Actually same! HAHAHAHA A few tweaks and she is really shining now!

I'm a Maniak, too! Pretty amazing bike. I've never had Ti before and it's a real eye opener to how different materials and manufacturing processes effect ride quality!! I was wondering if you ever get up to the trail system they've built in Kickapoo State Park?
@chickensendies

Very nice!!! I sure do!!! I'm actually only about an hour from Kickapoo! They have terrific trails 😃

Remove that bed cover if you want to store more bikes :) 5 large 29ers can fit in a 4 foot 5 bed like that with a tailgate pad. Just saying since the bike is diagonal

I've actually been pretty torn on that..... I use the cover quite a bit and typically I ride on my own so it is working so far for me. But, Time will tell!

Glad you enjoyed it and thank you!!! So far I am LOVING them! Definitely a trade off though in the weight. The weight does not bother me but definitely something to note! Fir the price I snagged them at I definitely recommend them!

I have a ML Maniak with 140 pike. Im 5'7" long torso. This bike rails on turns. Feels very long on downhill. Lots of pressure on my hands so im thinking of a shorter stem. Any thoughts out there on how to fix the cockpit?
@goforbroke2

That’s interesting I was looking at purchasing a medium and I’m the same height as you. If you’re feeling a lot of weight on your hands you could try a shorter stem and also move your seat back on your rails. The bike has a pretty steep seat angle so it pitches a lot of your weight forward. What’s your leg inseam length?

@@chickensendies what did you end up with for a measured HTA? (By the way, mine is even "worse" since my 150mm forked Maniak is a mullet. Such a slacker.)

@@bldavis36 So.... If I measured correctly it is around 60.5.....

@chickensendies I think you and I aren't measuring correctly. Because the advertised geo, plus using an online geo calculator doesn't yield remotely close to that. BTW that's about what I measured...
