Brother, I appreciate you covering this, but please, please if you do any further videos on Moko, please call it Ta Moko. Just cos we do not call our Moko “tattoos” for us, tattoo would be more like Kiri Tuhi. Ta Moko represent much more than just our rank and social status. But again I still appreciate your video brother. Much Aroha

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not maori). Isn't Ta Moko the act of applying the Moko or representing your specific Moko (patern)? Different sources say different things. I'm just trying to learn😊

@@ssgtblackmamba7991 no, Ta Moko is the name of the markings and the name of the practice. I wouldn’t read what the internet sources say about the actual practice. My source: I’m a Tohunga Ta Moko
