My dad showed me this 30 years ago. Also told me to round the corners so it won't be able to lift up.

A new tube costs about three bucks A patch kit costs about three bucks. Think I’ll just replace it

Something new vs something replaced is definitely a pick and choose situation but I mean if its my tube I finna buy new too. I ain't risking it on a patch if I can spend the same for a new replacement

@@blazedenenra exactly. Same cost and the same amount of work to get the wheel off and get the tube out. Might as well put a new one in it at that point.

Wait what? You just did a simple bicycle inner tube repair. Did I miss something!?! Setting the glue on fire is not necessary. But still … that was weird to watch. It makes me feel like making a video showing how to boil water.

Burning the glue activates the proton particles in it that condure with the particles in the rubber from the tire ( claynosis ) which acts as a very strong adhesive
