Thanks Kaleb, as a teacher it is so nice to hear your encouraging words about the inclusivity that we are trying to build and maintain in schools!

I work at an artist-run community space that does drag story time and just last week we had a bomb threat on the location that it’s hosted at as well as the art gallery that’s associated with it. The queens were so used to it that it really broke my heart to hear. We’re trying to find a way to accommodate them because these readings are very important for the continued progression of society. Plus the kids absolutely love it! We’re thinking that we may ask them to run a radio show in the meantime or a show on our TV channel. This isn’t about converting children to being queer, it’s about teaching children to accept and be kind to others even if they are living a different lifestyle than their own.

Dont take off your pants as a joke (children will model that behavior) and definitely dont roll around on on the floor with children at storytime. Just look at what extremists do and you will understand parents

Let kids be kids and if they are queer in the future let them realise that when they grow up, we should stop pushing all this stuff in their faces and telling them about stuff their minds can't comprehend, I don't remember having this many LGBT content growing up and during the last decade it's just everywhere. It's ok to let kids express themselves however they want like being tomboyish or letting little boys play with girls toys but that's not enough reason to start telling them about LGBT stuff when they have a 90percent chance of growing out of it, this is the reason for the protest not because the world hates you like you think although there are people with malicious intent most of these parents just want to protect their kids because truth be told no real parent wants their child to face the hardships of sexual orientation and gender identity and before y'all start attacking me I want you to know that this is coming from someone who cares about all the parties in this conversation since I in one way or another identify with them😊❤

Where'd you get that "90% grow out of it"? Citation needed. Furthermore, what's so hard to comprehend about "some girls like boys, and some like other girls"? What's hard for a child to comprehend about "sometimes people are different on the inside than they look on the outside, and some of them might decide to change some things about their outside, so they can have a happier life". This is actually an incredibly simple concept for children to understand. It's difficult for YOU to comprehend, because you spent your whole life being taught that there were only two immutable genders, and that there was a strict set of rules and traits that apply exclusively to one or the other, with no exceptions. You were taught a rigid, overly simplistic model of gender ideology, just like the rest of us. That's the reason it's so hard for you to comprehend. Don't assume that children have the same hangups and prejudice that adults have. I was always trans. Even as a small child. But I never had the chance to explore that part of me, because I wasn't given the information. It didn't exist back then. That's why I stayed miserable and closeted for thirty years. If I had had the resources that kids have nowadays about this stuff, I would have had a MUCH happier childhood. Educating kids about the real world is NOT harmful, if it's done correctly. You can't protect their innocence, you can only keep them ignorant. And a whole generation of people growing up completely ignorant to human sexuality, is the main reason why so many people are repressed, full of shame, terrified of the human body, sexuality, and anything to do with challenging gender norms.

@@SNESpoolwhen I posted this comment I knew someone was gonna attack me. it's ok to tell a child that boys can like boys and girls can like girls and that some people are different on the inside than they are on the outside after all "gender disphoria"is a thing I am not discrediting that, all I'm saying is that this type of information can be given to them in bits and pieces as they grow older and are able to understand better, Why do you think there are so many di-transitioning stories? because these tpeople were fed information their minds weren't mature enough to comprehend and made rash life changing decisions because that was what was given to them in their time of despair If they were just told that its okay for a girl to be tomboyish and for a man to be feminine and that it's okay to like someone of the same gender and NOT about gender ideology until they were old enough to understand better they won't be so miserable. Children are mimics they copy every thing they see and hear so if you feed them gender ideology and tell them that they're trans, gay, or non-binary that's what they will believe when in reality they might be straight and just like things that have been made gender specific to the opposite s*x. Oh and you also said that I was never taught about gender ideology and sexual orientation while growing up? You couldn't be more wrong, I'm a man that has always been called feminine for as long as I can remember and was sexually assaulted twice as a kid by two young adult men close to me and even then I only knew that people could feel sexual attraction to people of the same gender, I only knew that it was called being "gay" until I was twelve and my family and adults around only fed me more information as I grew older. Imagine what would have happened if I had all this information I had back then I might have thought "OH SINCE I'M FEMININE AND THERE ARE OTHER MEN WHO LIKE ME THEN I MUST BE TRANS" and then identified as trans and might have even transitioned. A lot of the kids who are part of the LGBT community only see it as a fashion trend some don't have gender disphoria, did not see a medical expert are self diagnosed and do not physically or mentally identify with the community, there are some online who use it to lie just to get privileges that are meant for people who need them and even to break the law all this is because the community is too accepting and anyone can just wake up one morning and add anything they like and say that's how they feel that day and everyone has to accept it hence the+++++++++++++±++++++++++++🤣, It's a deep dark bottomless abyss we're falling into and we have to pull ourselves out while we can still see the light
