The banana flower/blossom is typically used as a fish replacement...I've made it b4 but bought it canned and made fried "fish". The jackfruit I typically buy canned as well...its typically used as a pork replacement...jackfruit pairs very well with BBQ sauce...If you buy it canned I would suggest boiling the brine out at least twice.

You can try the jackfruit, but oil your hands with a little cooking oil first, it's very stainy, hopefully you will get a sweet one. Cut it in half first, then take the half and cut in quarters, and the bend outwards, enjoy, some people add salt. I'M JAMAICAN

ABSOLUTELY I recommend microblading! I had it done a month before my wedding and it was gorgeous!! I wish I had done it sooner!! No negatives for me. Except, the healing part. Which really is only a few days, but you have to keep them lubricated and they itch as it's going through the healing process. But again, only a few days. No pain, just slight "prickling." I think it would work well for you!!

Only 2 mins in but I had microblading done. Best decision ever!! It's like getting a tattoo (I don't have any) but some people say pain is the same or worse. BUT I have a high pain tolerance so it wasn't bad to me. Do your research when looking for the right person. Make sure they make them look natural! And ask what they use for numbing. My woman used lidocaine cream so I hardly felt anything but when it wears off? Painful. Take tylenol/motrin and you're good to go. You will peel for abt 1-2 weeks but after that you're fine. Like I said, best decision ever. Don't have to do anything to my eyebrows, give them a little brush each morning and out the door!

Ok Kim! This video is giving so much personality. Love the intro and as for the cookware, it's definitely on my list. I've been shopping around for some NON TOXIC non-stick pans so this will definitely be a great investment. This young lady at my old job got microblading. She didn't like it, they made her eyebrow way too thick, they were always red and they fade fast. I think she said she had to go every two weeks. She claimed it didn't hurt. To me, it doesn't look natural. Our eyebrow hairs naturally grows thinner at the beginning and gets fuller towards the tip. I have yet to see anyone achieve that look with microblading.💖

As far as the scarring/healing process…it wasn’t bad at all. My brow were darker at first, but not crazy looking. As the healing process continues, my brows got lighter. So I traveled back home to have her ombré my brows (very similar to micro blading). I love them! I didn’t really notice the scarring, probably because I’m a deep chocolate with dark brows. HOWEVER, the first 2 days I looked like an angry bird! They looked very harsh and I thought I made the wrong decision. But they settle as they heal. I got microblading. I def love my results. My natural brows aren’t super full either. I do fill them in a bit more when I’m doing a full face of makeup but for day to day it’s super convenient. The first numbing didn’t work for me so I did experience some pain for the first couple of mins but there is a second numbing and I didn’t really feel anything after that besides some soreness afterwards which was easily resolved with Tylenol. There def is scabbing and flaking and you can’t be in the sun so I’d prepare to spend a couple of weeks mainly in the house afterwards. And you will need 2-3 sessions typically plus touch ups every couple of years. I actually made a series of videos on it under my other account if anyone is interested.

I have had good and bad experiences with brows. I have done microblading, ombre brows, and laser tattoo eyebrow removal. I think it's great for those with some brows. I have none and you have to be VERY careful with who does it and the color they choose because it affects your whole face shape. It does peel, but only for a few days. I have thin, sensitive skin and the numbing has never worked, but some people feel nothing, so it just depends on your skin, pain tolerance, and the pressure used. I am glad I tried. I would just say do A LOT of research and ask questions. Also, a note, having done multiple times, it is possible to get scarring, which affects the ability of the pigment to settle in the skin.

That’s burdock root… you can do soooo much with that. There’s a vegan soul food spot I go to here in Harlem and they BBQ it. So delicious. Also try the jackfruit… it’s so versatile. If u wanna start out small get the can from Trader Joe’s. I usually don’t buy canned but a lot of ppl say the can of TJs is really good. Also with the banana flower you can make “fried fish”. I’m excited to see what you come up with.
