Recently, there was an incident in the Philippines where a transgender woman was kicked out of a women’s bathroom in a Manila shopping mall for being transgender. This incident triggered national headlines and fierce public debate on whether transgender women should be able to use women’s bathroom. So our Asian Boss reporter Daniel hit the streets of Manila to find out how ordinary Filipinos feel about this incident and the transgender people’s rights.
The opinions expressed in this video are those of individual interviewees alone and do not reflect the views of ASIAN BOSS or the general Filipino population.
Special thanks to our Asian Boss team in the Philippines.
