It is always a good idea to restore your hardwood timber floors wherever possible! We do not recommend painting them...
This week's floor is another stunning Tasmanian Oak (Australian Hardwood) timber floor. We estimate it to be around 50 years old so it has a lot of character! The brief from the client was to get the floor back to its original, natural timber colour with a satin finish.
We started with 50grit on THE BIG MACHINE and THE EDGER, moving up to 80grit, 100grit and finally 120grit on THE BUFFER. We then applied 3 coats of BERGER-SEIDLE water based polyurethane and gave the floor a buff before applying the final coat.
Beautiful! DONE! If you enjoyed this video then please subscribe to our channel as there are a lot more coming your way...
