Just to clarify one thing, I will not support or Stan any other group that has minors nowadays. The only one that I will open an exception is Nmixx, because I already started stanning them before knew about this how problematic stuff. But if JYP start making them sing double meaning lyrics I will unstan them too until they become adults.

adults consuming content by 14 year olds will always be weird not matter what people say. It doesn't matter how good their music is, it's morally wrong to. And the only way to protect these girls is by boycotting them so the companies see it and stop debuting minors.

but then that would put their careers and their dreams at risk for something that was out of their control, that’s not fair to them

I don't have a problem with ppl stanning NewJeans cuz there are a lot of good reasons to stanning them: the persona of the girls is charming, they're talented, and their music is good. I have a problem with ADOR, Min Heejin and HYBE Labels, cuz wtf they're debuting minors considering what kpop has become in the past couple of years, and also they're over eroticizing minors. Is not my place to judge the ppl who like the group but they have to be well aware of the backstory of the group and the ppl involved on the creation.

There is no realistic way to support a group without also supporting their concepts and company. So until they're removed from Min HeeJin and ADOR, the answer is "no".

Why all sudden ppl became vocal about this? In 2017 Hi Cuties debuted w/ an average line of 03 - 06 vs NewJeans 04 - 08 Almost telling, popularity of NewJeans. They become the primer ex of this topic while low-tier groups like Hi Cutie get ignored or become their exception

I can't say for everyone, but I became concerned about minors debuting because of how many ex-child stars start to spoke up about this toxic environment and how it ruined their mental health. So, that might be the main reason for that: people started to get aware of the trouble and educated themselves on this issue. Sorry for the long text. 😂

@@Alucard2091 First of all, there's no need for you to be rude. Second of all, I am not assuming anything. Some idols talked about how work affected their education, an example of that is Minzy from 2ne1. @@Alucard2091 Yeah, but still everyone knows and there are studies that shows how toxic entertainment industry is and how it can result in mental health disease. But if you don't care about that, ok. Also, you're basically pointing two or three cases of companies carrying about the idols or the idols graduating and having a degree. It's pretty obvious that it's not the case for majority of them: mamamoo talked about how companies didn't want them to go to another doctor even with them feeling pain, Sulli talked about how the industry destroyed her; Wendy and Yeri talked about their pressure to be slim; lots of idols drop out of school to work in the industry, so I really can't believe you're saying that such a place is healthy for kids to work on.

@@FeelsLikeHeavenFeelsLikeHell I am aware that the kpop industry is toxic, many idols end up developing poor mental health, anxiety, depression and more problems arise, being overwork, pressure from the media and fans, unnecessary hate and other factors, just like me they are very young, developing any of the problems I mentioned above very early will be worrying, if Ador does not support them, it can become something much worse in adulthood We also can't ignore the group's audience, I like the group for seeing myself in situations that show in the songs (except Cookie, it's clearly a double meaning song) And in the mvs, having fun with friends, falling in love, even if it doesn't lead anywhere, the time we spend at school, anyway, many things make me like NWJ, but we can't ignore the older audience, honestly I find it a bit problematic for someone twice their age to like the group, see themselves in the group, just as I feel, even if they have this nostalgic concept, I still think it's a problem for people much older than them stan the group, another problem is the sexualization that they already suffer, at some point one of the members will be faced with a malicious "fan", many cases of harassment have already happened with minors, it is something that cannot be avoided, it will unfortunately happen when they least expect it That was my opinion, even though I am aware of all this, I will continue to support the group
