After I did what I did to mine people on the streets were offering me about 9500 to 10000 back in 12 , 14 go forward now with the B16B at 200HP Plus and the paint and carbon and brakes its like the Price cap is going to break the low 12000 to 15000. Just look at the price of a fairly decent B16B there about 6500 hundred or so now when you could get them for 3500 the price has doubled guys. These are becoming rare and collectors in there own right. Good luck out there.

I've never heard anybody say it's a Honda so it will break down. Honda makes the best engines on the planet not even close. Honda in the 80s and 90s also made a very good manual transmission probably the best or just behind Toyota. You can easily get 300k out of a 80s and 90s Honda with a 5 or 4 speed. Now Honda these days are not very good they have transmission issues up the a hole.

If your gonna go the single cam turbo route I’d say drop a d16 bottom end on it with d15 vtec head and with a turbo you’ll be killing it bro😎

i paid 1400 for my 90 base model crx that the previous owner had already done a b20b swap to 2 and a half years ago. since then ive done wheels tires suspension full exhaust and a skunk 2 intake and 70mm tb. Now im in the process of collecting parts so that i can go for 300-350 hp

Looking at 89 Crx automatic for 600 bucks. 160k miles and the hatch needs new hinges and interior work but for 600 or less I’m going to try and save it and make it stick shift on a budget

My guy gotta say this video was so well done. Everything you said made so much sense made me want to go get one now. We have a 04 Element I think it has the K24A engine. I want to get more power out of it for going up hills. Any advice you can share ? 🙏

Thanks a lot man and the easiest way is throw a turbo kit on it run on 8 psi and you can do that all day

@@ambidexstress I've been looking at some turbo kits. I'm about 80% ready to pull the triage and buy one. Any certain brands you think I should check out ? When my wife and I go on long trips and use our car has our mirco camper and live out of it while we travel. We definitely need some extra boost. The car is very heavy and all the extra things we have in it doesn't help lol

Honestly eBay is fine and those k series motors can handle boost all day you could Probobly even go as far at boosting up to 350hp on 91 pump no problem

People love the race them out you cannot find them in oem condition anymore.

Yeah it’s definitely easy to make these ones faster but extremely difficult to keep them stock without getting tempted to throw new parts on
