What's up horror fiends and book lovers?
Mark Z. Danielewski released his infamous novel, House of Leaves, on March 7, 2000. Twenty-two years later, it is still heavily discussed and debated as one of the strangest (and potentially most brilliant) horror novels of modern times. But what makes this book so highly beloved? And also, what makes this book so deeply loathed? House of Leaves is an iconic work of fiction, though it is simply not a book for everyone. Today I want to share with you my thoughts on this absurdist tome to help you decide whether it's worth going on its wild and bizarre reading journey.
I tried to make this video as spoiler free as possible. These opinions are all my own, but feel free to discuss your own thoughts on this novel in the comments below!
