Been recommending russell brands video on it to everyone similarly minded to myself. Its about the film however it does well in narrowing parallels still. Titled something like "did this film predict the future"

V for Vendetta is an absolute masterpiece and most importantly a lesson on politics, ethics, and human nature that should be read in schools

I barely remember anything about the movie. Its marketing campaign was basically "Natalie Portman actually got her head shaved - WOW!!!"

Great review. I've have always thought this was Alan Moore's greatest work. Read it at least once a year, and each time Valerie's "letter" is a gut punch each time. The movie just didn't get it.

Watch the propaganda scene at 1 hour 30 mins and compare it to today. :/ In the movie obviously. :P
