My grandma is a white Haitian. She’s of French, polish and Arawak descent. Born and raised in Fonds des Blanc, Haiti. That’s where you find most of the white and mixed race Haitians. I was in port au Prince and one guy tried to rape me and he was shocked to hear me speak in creole and French.

Em, it’s a good thing you stayed in Cap-Haitien vs. P-AU-P. I lived in Haiti for 3 years many moons ago and the capital is dangerous and a nightmare! Some areas in Haiti really are unique and beautiful to see though and it definitely stays with you and becomes part of you your whole life. Thanks for sharing the video.
