Holy shit man I never thought you'd ever visit Nagpur , it's not much of a tourist city apart from Deeksha Bhumi which is a place of Religious significance , I was so stunned to find out that you visited Nagpur , and dared to try Saoji food , It's of course incredibly spicy , but that's how it's supposed to be , I hope you enjoyed your visit , Nagpur's developing at a huge rate , we're not the ideal place for tourism or a perfect city yet but we're getting there at a remarkably fast pace , I hope you'll visit us perhaps in another a couple of decades , the city would've probably reached the same level as New Mumbai if we grow fast and keep on growing , I'm glad you visited us , Lot's of Love from Nagpuriyans 🙌

Great video, I love your videos and appreciate how you try to portrait all sides of India. India is so vast and an incredible mix of tradition and modern which one could spend a whole life untangling. I travelled to India a few months ago and when I came back and shared about my trip with my European friends, I realised how many blatantly wrong stereotypes most people hold about India. They were surprised to learn that many cities had metro, for example. So I realise now how important it is to show all the facets of Indian society. India truly has everything, there is always something new to see and experience. Thank you for showing Nagpur

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude towards Mr. Karl for sharing nostalgic journey through my hometown of Nagpur.Your comprehensive coverage of the city's significant landmarks triggered a wave of pleasant memories from my childhood years.Your detailed explanations and engaging storytelling style, I felt transported back to those cherished times spent exploring every corner of this vibrant metropolis. I spend my 22 years in Nagpur,i used to stay in Dharampeth area, beautiful people, beautiful language Marathi. Every week we friends used to visit Ambhajari lake,or seminary hills,or maharaja baugh. Long drive for us was koradi, Ramtek, etc. Tiger Reserve Tadoba is famouse across globe. Even in summer at 47-48 degrees we use to roam on Nagpur roads without any protection, just have a lemon water or lassi that's it for our protection. Thank you, Mr. Karl, for capturing the essence of Nagpur and allowing me to reminisce fondly on these treasured moments. Hi Karl, I’m from Nagpur too, though now I live in Mumbai. Nagpur has connectivity to these wildlife reserves and jungles: Tadoba, Nagzira, Navegaon, Pench, Totladoh- Ranidoh, Bhandara buffer zone, and a few more places I’m unable to recall. Remember it’s the southern end of Mowgli territory, the Seoni forest corridors of 150 years back. For wildlife enthusiasts, it’s a good idea to make Nagpur the hub and visit these forests while returning to Ngp for some urban tlc 😀 The city has beautiful neem trees and once upon a time the cycle ride to school using the west high court road used to be magical. Dunno if it’s still so. If you are a practising Christian, then you’ll find some excellent old colonial cathedrals. My school has a French one…St. Francis de Sales. It’s a marvellous set of buildings. Do visit.

Dr Ambedkar is not a inspiration for all people of India, His constitution discriminates people from so called Upper castes even today, He is revered by people who got quotas, jobs and freebies due to him, but he snatched those same rights from other castes. Dr Ambedkar shifted rights from one caste(brahmins) to another(dalits), he made the same system which favored people by their birth (caste based reservation) which he fought against throughout his life.

Agree with u he is not inspiration for upper caste(especially Brahmin) because he is the only person in our history who destroyed the Brahmins hegemony and converted people back to their original religion i.e Buddhism. Now that people because of reservation(affirmative action)were able to hold some better position in many fields and that is what people like you are not able to digest and so you blame Reservation and Babasaheb Ambedkar for it. He was fighting privileges of castes by birth right? so why he created same system for dalits? it is a hypocrisy, why you criticize ancestors of brahmins then? it becomes comepletely justified when dalits enjoy all state privileges by birth into certain caste, but you will cry about brahmins privileges? and leave the brahmins they are just 16% of general category? why your ambedkar snatched our right to equality ? he got scholarships from king to study further, why he made childrens of same king a second class citizen in this nation? are you aware of the fact that during 1820s in many schools from across south india to east india, Shudras students outnumbered brahmins students in number, well before ambedkar was born? why he lied to the world that shudras were denied education? you justifying this second class treatment against general category on basis of what brahmins (16% of general cat) did is totally shameful, child born into our families becomes entitled to this state sponsored discrimination, why should non brahmin general category (84% of gen cat) suffer? @@tps8323

Chole and poha sounds like a good combo, though I'm not sure if I can handle that level of spiciness🌶️

It tastes tooooo Gud. Though It’s black Channa in Saoji gravy n not Chole. Top up with freshly made chivda. U can also ask for less spicy or medium spicy or less gravy to adjust spiciness. It’s one of a kind. U won’t get to eat dish as simple as poha anywhere else in India with bag full of flavours. I can eat it everyday. Used to go to this place ever other day. 🤪

Hi , never say from lower caste . Psychologically some people brand us as lower and try to make us inferior. We are mulnivasi and the owners of this land. We should be proud of our identity
