As a former service member. I will tell whoever asked the cowboy hat question. You do not want to only wear the cowboy hat. First day of boot camp, show up with the cowboy hat, Wrangler jeans, the trophy belt buckle, the cowboy boots, and accessorize all of that, with a pair of oakleys. The Drill Instructors Will love you.

My favorite one is, what MOS is Sniper? Oh how disappointed they are to find out not only is Sniper not a MOS but there is a lot of math involved. Which brings me to how few people realize gravity and wind affects a round of ammunition. Not to mention when you are firing a round from a great distance u have to factor in the curve of the earth. Now that blows the flat earthers minds.
@SubvertTheState
5 жыл бұрын
The Coriolis effect factors the rotation of the Earth into a shot. I believe it only effects latitude as a target standing on the geographic north pole would have a rotational speed of 0 mph. A target standing on the equator would have a rotational speed of about 1,000 miles per hour. So trajectory north or south, at enough distance would be greatly influenced by this effect. It's why hurricanes gain rotational energy.

Why is it there are a lot of military veterans are homeless like some of them served in iraq? Are you in a contract Then after your contract you no longer employed as military personnel? Can they still return to service after becoming a veteran because some of the veterans are still young like late 30’s
@trentenswett6306
5 жыл бұрын
Why is it there are a lot of military Vets are homeless? There are many reasons why they are homeless, could be after they got out of the military they couldn't coup with civilian life and became homeless, financial issues, legal issues, among other things. Are you in a contract, then after your contract you no longer employed as a military personnel? In short yes and no, when you enlist in the military you sign a contract and depending on that contract you may be required to serve so many years the slandered contract is 4 years of service and 4 years inactive reserves where you can be called up. If the person retired from the armed forces technically they are still with in the military but their statues is changed, however are still under the UCMJ, and can be called up at any time or court marshaled under the UCMJ for any thing they do. For Officers same thing applies to them as retirees they can be called back up at any time after leaving the service. Can they still return to service after becoming a veteran? Yes you can go back into service after getting out, however as long as you meet the legal, physical requirements to do so, if you are legally unfit such have felonies etc, or a dishonorable discharge, you cannot, if you are physical unfit for duty with medical issues etc, you can't as well depending on severity of the issues, and also meet the age requirements. Also depending on your re-enlistment code as well you get after leaving the service will also dictate if you are able to rejoin or not.
@joekhaye5132

Trenten Swett thank you for the reply btw i am not american i am just curious and bothered and i feel sad whenever i see veterans at their very young age struggling or being homeless after serving their country. This is a memorable moment for me at Air Force basic military training, I was told to do mountain climbers as punishment for not memorizing dorm guard rules and procedures. After what seemed like 10 entire minutes I reached a point where I couldn't even move so I stood back at attention. The two Training instructors got in my face and yelled asking me why I stopped. They went all out Marine core DI spazz fest on me. I managed to scream out this Trainee has reached the top of the mountain, sir.
