You're supposed to use a t-handle wrench (tap wrench) for reamers as there's a tendency to pull the reamer to one side when you use a spanner, leaving you with a less than cylindrical hole.

Thank you for the video that's the point I'm at right now on my 67 shovel. But I do not have that expensive tool

Video you watch with adjustable reamer was mine ... One thing I did wrong was the reamer was to be turned counter clock wise .. But all in all it still worked

I Stand corrected ....... Your tool is a clock wise reamer . my adjustable one is a counter clock wise
