Mukume (can't spell it, but I can say it!) is one of my favorite techniques; but you are so right about the need for high-contrast between the layers! My 1st attempt at that gave me a muddled-up mess that eventually got mixed in with some other colored scrap and used-up that way. Again, why I love polymer clay so much, as "waste" can be used again in some manner. If you don't like it, mash it with something else and try again. Really gorgeous and love the addition of the hollow bead pendant!

Thank you, Irene! I think it's the reason many first timers give up on this technique. It's a very simple technique if you know all the info ahead of time, it's one of the thing many YTer's don't mention but I believe is the most important thing g to remember. Also not to over stack and roll, to keep the layers from getting to thin...hmmm...probable should have said that too! Oh well next time...lol!😄💕
