James, I had a case of gout a few years ago, oh so painful. Your chickun might work. in fact, might give it a try!

I hear you about the gout Glen, crab and shrimp get me the most, its not pleasant, tried tart cherry juice it helped a bit but not as much as meds, Ill try this too cheers -Dave

Welcome back, you! I have made seitan twice, but never used the tofu puree. I used veggie broth/stock. Might try the tofu next time.
