If you would wrap it twice before going thru the loop it will work better on the small stuff

Need more friction/grubbing, try a couple of wraps or tye saplings will slid right off. Thanks for sharing ✌🏽

You have to create lots of friction so wrap the chain around the brush as many times as you can befor you run it through the larger loop. hope this helps.

I wonder how this will work on improperly pruned clumps of saplings that believe they are going to be bushes now and have multiplied. Those trees are serious about sticking around. This is year 3 in the battle zone!

Wrap an old bicycle inner tube around the stalks or base prior to the barbed side of the chain. It should give you better grip.

There's no perfect tool for all conditions. My experience with that chain system has been very good especially for smaller things that a regular chain can't get a good bite on.

I have this and sometimes it needs to be wrapped multiple times around the victim.
